Synopsis For Northern California Waters

A strong pressure gradient will maintain gale force winds and hazardous seas over the outer waters through this evening. Winds and seas will subside slightly Friday and Friday night...but are expected to increase again over the weekend. The strongest winds will be offshore beyond 10 nm...but gale force gusts will occur at times near shore Saturday and Sunday. A dangerous mix of large wind waves and short period swell will affect all the waters over the weekend and through early next week.
